As a unique and thriving hub, the ecovillage harmoniously addresses every facet of village life, embracing the core pillars of health care, education, economic empowerment, and governance.

The Kibeti Ecovillage is a vibrant collection of 13 neighboring villages, forming a close-knit community of approximately 20,000 individuals. It's a testament to the power of unity and the diversity that enriches our shared human experience

Empowering Through Democratic Governance

At Kibeti, our dedicated JPF team has not only built a thriving community but also nurtured a democratic governance structure that empowers the local residents. Comprising committees overseeing conservation, sanitation, the local economy, and the advancement of women, this structure ensures that community members play a pivotal role in shaping their own destinies.

A Tapestry of Unity and Diversity

Beyond the ecovillage's boundaries, JPF's commitment to healthcare knows no limits. We join hands with local Congolese NGOs to deliver vital medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics across the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It's a collaborative effort to extend the healing touch far and wide.

Healthcare: A Lifeline to the Future

One of our proudest achievements within the Kibeti Ecovillage is the Kibeti Health Center. Constructed in 2010, this small yet essential health clinic has become a lifeline to the local population. Before its establishment, residents often faced grueling journeys, traveling for days on foot or bicycle to access medical care. Now, the Kibeti Health Center serves approximately 25 patients per month, addressing a wide range of ailments, including cardiovascular and respiratory illnesses, malaria, yellow fever, polio, and meningitis.
